Vision & Strategy

Visualizing how the Calendly platform will scale to seamlessly integrate into our customer workflows

In light of Calendly's evolving vision and strategy post-COVID, and response to economic changes, I spearheaded an initiative in collaboration with senior leadership to visualize the primary value we aim to provide to our users over the next 1-3 years. Additionally, we explored how GenAI aligns with and potentially accelerates our goals and objectives. This initiative served to inspire and align teams across the company, while also clarifying how the work of each team contributes to the overarching vision.

Ben created the 2024 vision across the product, in 8 weeks, and presented it to the entire company. It included narrative, prototypes, and new-new products. It set the stage for 2024 product planning, as well as company discussion and engagement on the future of Calendly.
— Jess Clark, Head of Design

As Calendly’s platform scaled to solve more complex workflows for larger teams we identified the automation of scheduling new leads (routing) for sales and marketing teams as an important opportunity. Delivering an easy to understand yet scalable solution required a deep understanding of our customers’ workflows, how data flows between integrated systems, and how to provide the right amount of flexibility for a scalable solution.
