Product Impact

  • Led multiple research initiatives that influenced the direction of the product and strategy

  • Collaborated with a cross-functional leadership team on new product offerings beyond Payroll to broader workforce management solutions (HR, benefits, HRIS)

  • Worked with a small team to validate, define, and socialize a new product offering for employees, helping transform a proof of concept into a fully funded top company priority

  • Co-created a service design strategy to support the integration of payroll expert services into the product experience

While QuickBooks Payroll primarily focuses on assisting small business owners, we recognized the opportunity to further support employees in getting the most out of their pay. I led an effort to understand the specific challenges faced by employees of small businesses, identify the problems we were uniquely positioned to solve, and scale a team to deliver effective solutions.
